Branded will be headlining a show with the Bimini Brothers at the Intersection on Saturday September 13th. The cost is only $5 to get in. This will be a bash to remember!

A big Branded thanks to the great folks at the Muskegon Summer Celebration and River City Studios for making the first annual Country “Battle of the Bands” such a great event. West Michigan has many great bands and it was a pleasure to share the stage with the likes of Kris Hitchcock, J-3, Roy David Scott, Crying Wolf, & The Law.
As the winners, Branded will be opening for Montgomery Gentry and Bucky Covington this Wednesday July 2nd at 6:00PM on the main stage.
The BrandedBand.com store has a special for our hard core Branded fans. The deal includes a ticket to 2 great Intersection shows. The 1st is James Otto on May 29th and the 2nd is Cross Canadian Ragweed on June 16th. Tickets at the door will run you $35 but buy them both from us and it will cost you only $26.

Last night was the finals for the Next Big Star competition at the Intersection. Frankie Ballard, The Bronk Brothers, Roy David Scott and the Get the Cat Band, and Branded took the stage in order to decide who would be given the honor of opening for Kenny Chesney when he visits the Van Andel Arena later this month. The judges definitely had a hard decision to make last night because everyone put on a hell of a show.
As many of you who were there to support us (THANKS!) know, Frankie Ballard took 1st place and the Bronk Brothers were given 2nd place honors. What people didn’t know until last night was that B-93 had a small secret up their sleeve. They revealed that not just 1st place was going to be playing in late May but 2nd would play the second night inside and 3rd and 4th place would perform outside Van Andel during the pre-show street festival. Branded will warm up the crowd before the Chesney show on Wednesday May 21st with Get the Cat on Thursday the 22nd.

I just made it home from another great time at the Crazy Horse Saloon n Rockford. Its been way too long since I’ve seen the boys (+Susan) play at the ‘Horse. Good times had all around and we will do it again tomorrow night! Make sure to stop out for another great time.
I also just wanted to quickly mention the Tuesday show again. The four finalist bands for the Kenny Chesney Next Big Star contest will perform Tuesday night to decide who gets to open for Kenny Chesney on the big stage inside Van Andel Arena when Kenny comes to town. Crowd participation is part of the judging so come on out and make some noise. Cya there!
